Hello Song - The More We Get Together

(sung to the tune of “Have You Ever Seen a Lassie?”)

The more we get together,

Together, together.

The more we get together,

The happier we’ll be.

There’s <child’s name> and <child’s name>,

And <child’s name> and <child’s name>,

The more we get together,

The happier we’ll be.

Singing Time - Old McDonald

  1. Come up with your own animals or have your child help you.

  2. Cat, Dog, Horse, Cow, Sheep, Duck, Chicken, pig

  3. You can also practice the sign language for the animals that you know.

Instrument Time: Make a Little Music

If you don't have any instruments, I would refer you to the Toddler music lesson that was posted this week. There is a section on making instruments. We often use shakers during this song. If you have more than one shaker, or types of instruments, ask, "Which one do you want?", and hold them up for him/her to grab. You can also ask, "what color, blue or red?", or "do you want the sticks or the shaker?". Watch for your child to follow the directions to play up high, low, left, right, forward, back, etc. If he/she does not, you could provide a model prompt.

Where is Scott? - Scarf song

You will need a scarf or a towel for this song. The video is more of an explanation, not really for your child to follow along with.

What do you See With? - Body Identification

Goodbye Song

Reach your hands up high. Bring them way down low.

Reach your hands up high. Bring them way down low.

To the side, to the side. To the side, to the side.

To the front, to the back. To the front, to the back.

On top of your head, and now in your lap.

Cuz now it's time to go.

Goodbye everyone. Goodbye everyone. Goodbye everyone.

Thank you for making music.
